Jim really exists. And he is even Belgian. He likes chocolates and laughter and silences and sentences that do not end. Laureate of several competitions and awards in France and further afield, often spotted with his travelling companions Thibaut Quintens or Cyril Blondel, Jim is a writer, a sculptor, a professor of political philosophy, militating for peace and social justice, also working in international organisations towards a better world for all.
Julien Hanoteaux is born in 1987 in Charleroi (Belgium)
Even although, he is passionate for comics and videogames since he was a kid, Julien starts taking drawing seriously to make a job relatively late. In 2007, he discovers the computer garphics with a prepress course in Cepegra (Gosselies-Belgium). After that, he joins a comic workshop in Chatelet where he learns the basis of narration and comic structure.
He learned also a lot as an autodicact, he reads all he could find about the multiple aspects of drawing. Then, he decided to go study 2D animation In Albert jacquard (Namur). After that, he did a stage in a boardgame company named Sit Down! and based in Namur. His first step into boardgame world.
In 2014, he goes in some game festival (Essen, troll & Legendes) to present his work, it’s how he will take contact with Thibaut Quintens and starts working on AYA. Julien works also as a freelance for various clients and projects (novels, roleplaying game, colorisation …)
Young freelance graphic designer based in Toulouse, Nina principally works on printed graphic design, but also on digital projects. She loves illustration and more specifically children’s book illustration. She became a freelancer right after her diploma, to be able to work with different clients and projects.
